Gumshoe is my partner! I love him very much and hold him very dear to me as he's been an aid to me for a very long time. I am in love with him and I'm very glad he's stuck with me for so long. He is my partner in many senses of the word, and a loyal companion.
Dick Gumshoe appears as himself in the Ace Attorney series, but he is not fictional. I pay no mind to those who do call him fictional, but just know I won't treat him like he is.
